TRANSCOM TIE-DOWNS FOR FISHING BOATS

TRANSCOM TIE-DOWNS FOR FISHING BOATS

These straps are installed on the transom of my Key West 1720, a 17 ft center console fishing boat. The straps are easily and quicky adjustable and lock securely with the cam lock. Flip the cam lever and the straps are rigid. The cam lever has a velcro strap, which can be used to secure the lever too.

Ideal for most boats and trailers up to 28 feet in length, these transom tie downs have a break strength of 2500lbs and a load limit of 833lbs. The rust resistant zinc coating makes them incredibly durable for life in salty conditions, and the hooks are rubberized to ensure the best fit possible.

Boat transom tie downs, when properly secured to transom eyes and trailer, restrict vertical and lateral movement of the boat to safely secure the boat to the trailer. Transom straps also restrict bouncing of the boat on the trailer bunks or rollers.
