This brief provides an introduction to one of the most recent communications mediums-blogs. Although a majority of individuals are not bloggers, individuals who do blog can have a significant influence on customer and public opinions. Cable television has long been mislabeled a monopoly. This brief reviews the state of competition in the three primary services cable operators offer: video, high-speed broadband & telephone. Cable clearly faces competition on many fronts. And some of the cable industry's competitors include established companies that among the largest corporations in the country.
